FAQ

Is this a hockey camp?

No. This is an exposure camp. Even though there will be one practice where instruction is given, we consider this an exposure camp.

So what is an exposure camp?

An exposure camp is an opportunity to be scouted by several leagues and teams across the United States and Canada in one location.

What’s the format for this event?

The camp will consist of four games per team. This camp will consist of 2006-, 2007- and 2008-born players.

Will the scouts contact us at this event?

Some will talk to you at the camp and others will either email or call about players they are interested in after the camp.

Will there be more scouts than the ones listed as coaches on the website?

Yes – we expect many additional teams to attend from the USHL, NAHL, BCHL and SJHL, as well as many Tier III teams. This has been the case in past years.

I’m trying to coordinate my travel – what’s the time frame for this camp?

The camp starts Monday morning, July 17, and the camp ends late on Wednesday afternoon, July 19.

When will the schedule and teams be determined and sent out?

After you have registered online and been accepted, you will receive a confirmation via email. On June 30, you will receive your schedule and team assignment via email. You will be asked to report 90 minutes (1.5 hours) before your first on-ice session to pick up your jersey and meet your coach.

What makes this one of the best exposure camps of the summer?

First and foremost, the staff – the coaches are committed to working and scouting this camp. We feel there is not another exposure camp this summer that will have this quantity or quality of coaches in attendance.
